Description:
Based on environmental variables (climate, geomorphology, oceanicity and northing) using a Principal component analysis and ISODATA clustering routine. The Environmental Stratification of Europe (EnS) consists of 84 Strata, which have been aggregated to 13 Environmental Zones with a spatial resolution of 1 km^2.
