    <p>We propose our formal mandate to be work hydrography, water resources and environment of the Mesta river basin in Bulgaria.</p>
    Main Activities: 
    The Institute of Water Problems is engaged with fundamental and applied research concerning the complex and optimal water resources utilization and protection, assist and takes part directly in the application of the obtained results to practice. The main fields are: - water resources planning and management; - water resources quality; - hydraulic and hydrophysical problems of water systems; - stability of hydraulic structures.
