    Previous Experience relevant for INSPIRE development: 
    The Directorate General for Biodiversity (DGB), assumes the responsibilities of Conservation of the Nature in those matters not transferred to the Autonomous Regions, being a coordinator between these and the European Union. With regard to the cartographic topics, DGB realizes the thematic basic cartography of the natural way, specially in forest matter and of conservation of the nature. Since 1990 the Bank of Biodivertity Information (BDB)is the responsible organ to collect these topics. The BDB manager is the environmental representatives of Spain in INSPIRE Expert group.
