    Formal Mandate: 
    <p>Any registration made by the Register must express the following circumstances:<br /> 1. The nature, location and boundaries of the properties subject to the registration or under the right to be registered, as well as its surface measure, name and number, whenever specify in the deed.<br /> The identification of the property may be completed through the incorporation to the registrable deed of a geographic base or by means of its topographic definition in accordance with a system of geographic coordinates related to national geodetic and levelling networks in a project issued by a competent technician.<br /> The urban and cadastral graphic base and the topographical map shall be attached to the deed in duplicate. One of the originals shall be filed in the Register, notwithstanding its incorporation to computer systems. A note shall be entered in the margins of the entry of the relevant transaction in relation with the filing of the duplicate and the register shall include on the original enough reference on the relevant property. The file of the graphic base may be obtained as a specific registral operation by means of an authorized notaries’ deed, at the request of the registral owner, describing the property and entered in the graphic base.<br /> The registers have computer applications to operate with the graphic bases enabling the coordination with the registral properties and the incorporation of the relevant urban, environmental and administrative details.<br /> 2. The nature, extension and conditions, suspensory or resolutory, if any, of the right to be entered, and its value, whenever specify in the deed.<br /> 3. The right on which the object to be registered is based.<br /> 4. The corporate or natural person in whose name the registration is made.<br /> 5. The person from whom the properties or rights to be registered come directly from.<br /> 6. The deed to be entered, the date and the Court, Tribunal, Notary or civil servant authorizing it.<br /> 7. The date of submission of the deed in the Register and the date of the registration.<br /> 8. The signature of the Register, meaning the approval of the registration, with a copy of the deed from where it had been taken.</p>
    Main Activities: 
    The primary purpose of the ELRA may be described as the development and understanding of the role of land registration in real property and capital markets. High level Objetives: 1. To engage effectively with other members of ELRA to develop a pan European understanding on issues of common interest. 2. To engage effectively with the EU and where appropriate influence both the policy making and policy implementation in respect of issues of interest and concern. This may involve proactive consideration of policy instruments, legislation and regulations at their earliest draft stage. 3. To engage with third parties involved in European land market development and with land registration organisations worldwide. 4. To provide a receptive forum and network for the exchange of ideas. Specific Objectives: 1. To focus on and emphasise the legal aspects of conveyancing land registration and security of transactions. 2. To actively participate and advise as appropriate in relation to the development of new European legislation affecting the issue of secured interests in land and property. 3. To contribute effectively to future EU policy in respect of land registration. 4. To work towards convergence of land registration activities and practices in Europe particularly in respect of the provision of the highest level of secured property rights.
    Comments: 
    Non-profit making association. The Association is established for an indefinite period of time. The General Assembly meets at least once a year at the registered office or any other place indicated in the notification. The objectives of these meetings are: - to define, identify and/or launch new objectives; - to make any amendment of the Statutes; - to alter the objectives of the Association; - to alter the duration of the Association; - to agree upon any relevant matter; - to determine any regulations; - to review the activities and operation of the Association. These activities are completed with workshops, working groups, visits, etc.
