<p>The National Land Survey is responsible for Finland's cadastral system and mapping. One of the tasks of the NLS is the promotion of shared use of geographic information.</p>

Main Activities:

NLS produces and provides information on and services in real estate, topography and enviroment. NLS is active internationally, e.g. in many European wide GI-projects and in Global Spatial Data Infrastructure (GSDI) Association. NLS coordinates the production of EuroGlobalMap database, which covers 35 European countries.
