    Formal Mandate: 
    <p>The Norwegian Public Roads Administration (Statens vegvesen) is responsible for the planning, construction and operation of the national and county road networks, vehicle inspection and requirements, driver training and licensing.<br /> The NPRA are also responible for the National Road Data Base (NVDB), with road geometry and topology, and road properties for all public and private roads i Norway.</p>
    Main Activities: 
    The main activities relevant for INSPIRE is the National Road Data Base (NVDB). The NVDB contains geometry, topology and road properties for all roads in Norway, both public and private, including forestry roads. The NVDB contains about 370 different road properties like speed limits, road width, surface, lanes, signs, bridges, fences etc
