Ravi/NCGI has relevant expertise for INSPIRE at the following topics:
- Standardization
Development and maintenance of:
- semantic standards for sectoral information models (like Cultural Heritage, Topographic, Water and other) based on a conceptual model (Basic schema for Geo-information)
- metadata standards for discovery of datasets and datasets series
- network services (clearinghouse)
based on ISO, OGC, W3C and other relevant standards
- Development and maintenance of the national clearing for geo-information
- INSPIRE
Preparational activities to translate the INSPIRE working program into the Dutch INSPIRE component
- Space for Geo-information
Space for geo-information is a program (40 m €) for the development of a national SDI. This program is temporal and the results/products will be consolidated in Ravi/NCGI.
