    Formal Mandate: 
    <p>Regione Toscana has formal mandate by the State for coordinating, developing, maintaining spatial data DB and providing web access at regional level. </p>
    Main Activities: 
    Project management. coordinaton, development and auditing. Tools and services implementation aimed to user spatial data web access. Regional standards definition. Spatial data and products compliancy tests. Regione Toscana actively participates to e-gov projects, among others SigmaTer (cadastral and topographic data), INTERGEO (territorial integrated teller) and develops own projects like i-mobility(territorial access), iter.net(roads and addresses), Geosigma(data re-use for urban management and administrative applications). TOPOCORE is a project Regione Toscana is leading in a consortium of 20 members of 8 EU countries, aimed at protection of spatial data investment through standardisation in spatial data storage and re-use.
