    Formal Mandate: 
    <p>The Swedish Maritime Administration (SMA) has the instruction to be the national coordinator for maritime geographic information and also to produce the geographic information necessary to promote safe navigation at sea, primarily within the Exlusive Economic Zone (EEZ).</p>
    Main Activities: 
    Production and maintenance of a national bathymetric database. Production and maintenance of a national nautical chart database. Providing nautical charts in electronic (IHO S57 ENC) form as well as paper charts. Providing additional information necessary for safe navigation as nautical publications.
