Combined team of 50 geospatial experts operating within the Abaco group of companies.
Activities: 
Delivery of commercial geospatial technology and solutions for more than 15 years. Abaco designed and deployed more than five IACS-CAP systems (integrated Administration and control Systems) for the Common Agricultural Policy, together with the LPIS (Land Parcel identification System). Abaco technology is OEMd worldwide. Major clients include the US Department of Agriculture, the Italian Minister of Agriculture, several paying agencies throughout Europe, Daewoo, SGS, Siemens, Pirelli, Volvo, several municipalities. The technology allows a simple integration of geospatial functionalities into applications. A major achievement is a lightweight web 3D viewer which displays 3D terrain and building representations from Spatial data, on-the-fly, without intermediate layers. Applications include land management, tax management, building and infrastructures management, mainly for the public administration. Also delivery of technical software-based solutions (including internet mapping) and undertaking data exchange, processing and analysis. Strong project management skills in addition to technical and sector-based knowledge.

Comments: 
Abaco group companies are working closely with government institution to provide knowledge on the INSPIRE objectives and to foster geospatial data exchange. We also try to contribute to the Agricultural development through proven solutions for the Common Agricultural Policy. We have a good knowledge of the actual implementation challenges. We are able to link this to our work for national government agencies, in order to achieve the interoperability required by a European initiative.
