Mission and Objectives: 
Serving as a point of contact and effective voice for South-East European companies and institutions involved in creating, maintaining, providing, using geospatial information; Promoting and fostering the development of spatial data infrastructures and the sharing of geospatial information on local, regional, interregional scale; Establishing and sustaining international contacts and will thus work in the direction of strengthening the mutual collaboration and support between all GI communities.

Intercountry association, combining members from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro, Turkey.
Activities: 
AGISEE works towards the development of an infrastructure that will allow users globally and inter-regionally to access spatial data at a variety of scales from multiple sources that will ultimately appear seamless to the user. The most important activities, which the association performs, are raising awareness for GI issues; provision of information; training; promotion of standards and new technology; intermediation; advice and consultancy; advocacy and lobbying; etc.
Membership: 
There are 85 members of the Association, selected by nine different categories. 1. Sponsor – 1 member 2. Corporate – 5 members 3. SME – 6 members 4. Research and Education – 23 members 5.
