AHN is a permanent cooperation (since 1997) between Rijkswaterstaat Data ICT Dienst (RWS-DID), Unie van Waterschappen and Het Waterschapshuis.
Activities:
technical specifications development, workshops, symposium, tendering projects for data collection by third parties, tendering projects for quality control by third parties, validating data, quality checks, data distribution, datamodelling, maintainance, data warehousing, stimulating use of high density and high accurate lidardata for non conventional purposes

Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management; All 26 Regional Water Authorities; Dutch Association of Regional Water Authorities
Comments:
AHN= Actueel Hoogtebestand Nederland which means a detailed height model for the Netherlands based on high density point lidar data (appr. 8 - 10 points per square m) and very high accurate (5cm). More information: www.ahn.nl
