Mission and Objectives: 
To monitore, disseminate, iniciate, promote, and develop progressive methods, tools and organisational processess in NSDI to get an effective production and re-use of metainformation in all level GIS in the Czech Republic. To get the geodata and geoinformation more accessible, in better and clear quality. To develop the GI market, to share expertize and special knowledge internationally.

CAGI is a non-profit professional national umbrella organization active continuously in Geoinformatics.
Activities: 
CAGI members work in focused special commissions and working groups, e.g. standardization, terminology, conferences and workshops, education and edification, public administration, spatial planning etc.
Membership: 
TU Ostrava, HelpService RS Benesov, Czech Centre for Science and Society, Vysocina Region, ZCU Plzen, Tmapy Ltd, Nemoforum, Intergraph CZ, Masaryk university Brno.
Comments: 
CAGI playes a key role in the Czech society as a permanent monitoring body, associating GI professionals, evaluating the quality of geodata production, GI technology and services usage and active and strong disseminative and edificative stakeholder.
