Mission and Objectives: 
The main objective of e-geo.ch is to implement a NSDI in Switzerland. The e-geo.ch program regroup services from federal state, cantons, municipalities and people from private sector.

Tempory association from public and private institutions concerned with the promotion and handing of geoinformation in Switzerland
Activities: 
e-geo. ch ist the network of the implementation of the NSDI. For achieving their aim, e-geo.ch has elected a steering committee in charge of the 8 domains of the e-geo.ch program: basic geonformation, metadata, basic géoservices, technical infrastructure, research and education, standards, legal basis and Strategy for distribution and pricing. E-geo.ch organises every year a national forum.
Membership: 
Several Departments of the federal administration, cantons, SOGI (Swiss organisation for Geo-Information) cities and municipalities.
