Stimulate the adoption of INSPIRE-related measures within a private sector enterprise operating in the environmental field across Europe.

Awareness raising on benefits and potential pitfalls in the implementation of SDIs; Monitoring INSPIRE developments; Consolidation of internal "INSPIREd" data assets/services
Membership:
Membership of the SDIC is currently being revisited in light of organisational changes occurred at the end of 2010. Between 2006 and 2010 this SDIC was activated by CH2M HILL, as a subject operating both as a user and provider of environmental information in various EU countries, in its interaction with different environmental stakeholders.
Comments:
This SDIC is being proposed as an initiative to consolidate past and ongoing efforts in the direction indicated in the mission.

Contact staff: - previously involved in EU Project on GIS/Environmental modelling and one project on Decision support systems related to WFD; - constant participation to information on INSPIRE and pre-INSPIRE GI developments within the EU (dating back to 1997) - management, technical supervision and execution of projects involving large spatial data sets for different countries
