Earth Resource Data Analysis System (known as ERDAS) was established in 1978. Now a part of the Hexagon Group, Sweden, ERDAS provides solutions that meet the full spectrum of an organization's requirements, transforming geospatial data into information for decision-making processes. Building on the company's rich history and expertise, ERDAS provides the most comprehensive solutions for geospatial data exploitation, geo-processing, photogrammetry, data production, remote sensing, enterprise data management, geo-collaboration and data delivery. In EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa), ERDAS has 35 distributor offices and 12 Business Partners, covering over 90 countries, providing value added services and solutions.
Membership: 
Organizations managing large amount of raster datasets (orthoimagery, DTM, scanned maps, …), with interest for geospatial solution providing automation for data and metadata management, and based on open, interoperable standards & technology.
Comments: 
With Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) interoperability, ERDAS, the Earth to Business company, develops standards-based solutions for advanced Service Oriented Architectures (SOA).

    Previous Experience relevant for INSPIRE development
    ERDAS is supporting the establishment of SDIs within local to global initiatives, from the Port of Rotterdam spatial information system, to several EC Framework Programmes (FP6/FP7), and to the Global Earth Observations System of Systems, contributing with open and standards-based technology to integrate geospatial information services.
