GeoModel aims to increase of efficiency and reliability of solar energy technology by developing high resolution climate databases and geoinformation services. The company develops simulation and control tools, interactive maps and web services for solar energy industry for prefeasibility studies, project planning, performance monitoring, and management of distributed solar power generation.

Member of the consortium Task 36 "Solar Resource Knowledge Management" within the Implementation Agreement "Solar Heating and Cooling " of the International Energy Agency
