Mission and Objectives:
Harmonization of national datasets -including data modeling, reference systems, metadata and data validation, encoding systems. Distribution of geographical information on the base of OpenGIS platform. Integration of Geographical information by means of geoportal. Building of national spatial data infrastructure.

Agreement between Ministry of Education of Slovak republic and Comenius University in Bratislava, Faculty of Natural Sciences. Members of project: Faculty of natural Sciences Comenius University in Bratislava, Research Institute of Geodesy and Cartography , Slovak Environmental Agency, Lesoprojekt Zvolen, Espace Morava
Activities:
Standardization, harmonization and integration of spatial data structures provided by governmental, research, educational, private .. institution. Creation of metainformational system, informational and application servers. Creation of geoportal. Distribution of geodata into the Internet on the base of OpenGIS standards. Technical specification development for integration of geodata and integration of WMS, WFS, WCS .. geospatial services
