Mission and Objectives: 
The GeoTest project´s aim is to develop methods for testing geodata and geodataservices according to the INSPIRE directive and to establish a testingenvironment nationally.

Mandate: 
The GeoTest project was launched within the Swedish Geodatastrategy programme. Stakeholders are the Swedish Mapping and Cadaster Agency (Lantmäteriet), Future Position X (FPX, a clusternetwork in Gävle)and the University of Gävle. The GeoTest work is based on an agreement between the stakeholders and finansed by the members/stakeholders and European fundings.
Activities: 
The work is based on cooperation between parties and stakeholders coming from Swedish authorities, municipalities and private market, and from cooperation with universities and R&D wg in EU. GeoTest has so far delivered results within methodology, documented testcases and an established testenvironment with tools and testpopulations. Validated methods for testing performance, transformation and usability can now be offered/used for testing geodata and geodataservices. GeoTest project have been taken part in testing Annex I.
Membership: 
Members and stakeholders: Swedish mapping and cadastral Agency (Lantmäteriet), Future position X (member & clusterorganisation in Gävle, FPX),and the University of Gävle. Cooperation: Cooperates in developing methodology with EuroSDR (PTB),OGC, Swedish Standards Institute (SIS)....

Perform testcases and publish/provides validated testcases to SDI infrastructure and members.
