Mission and Objectives:
Provide a set of marine and coastal services, over all geographical areas. The MarCoast portfolio is composed of the 6 services: Oil Spill Detection (S1), Oil Spill Drift Forecast (S2), Water Quality Monitoring (S3), Algae Bloom (S4), Water Quality Assessment (S5), MetOcean Data (S6). Harmonisation of national datasets in the marine domain is an issue that shall be addressed, though several standards are already existing and used.
