M.O.S.S. takes active parts in separate INSPIRE boards. INSPIRE Drafting team: Dr. Heino Rudolf joins the team "Implementing Rules" Annex themes 3-7 for environmental monitoring as an editor. Deutscher Dachverband für Geoinformation e.V., DDGI: Hans Braun is supervisor of the INSIPRE section. Deutsche Vereinigung für Wasserwirtschaft, Abwasser und Abfall e.V., DWA: Dr. Joachim Thiel and Dr. Heino Rudolf are members of the DWA INSPIRE working group.
