The National Agricultural Research Foundation (NAGREF) is a national body for Agricultural Research and Technology in Greece and it operates as a private entity, under the Ministry of Rural Development and Food.
Activities: 
NAGREF conducts essential oriented research aiming to agricultural developmen, research and develops technology for agricultural, forestry, livestock and fisheries production, crops protection; and it investigates veterinary, fisheries resources mangement, soil science, land reclamation, processing and preservation of agricultural products and rural economy issues.
Membership: 
Numerous research institutes thoughout Greece performing stratigic reseach.
