Mission and Objectives: 
Netcad is a CAD&GIS&RS software company and assimilates all the INSPIRE requirements and produces fully INSPIRE compatible solutions. Netcad fulfills all UML schemas and interface requirements in addition to its own visionary and unique concepts. Netcad wants to spread its ideas and contribute the development of INSIPIRE to the further levels.
Formal Mandate: 
Turkey is a part of the INSPIRE formation and contributes the development. Additionally; Turkey applies the INSPIRE standards on national level. Netcad is one of the key players of GIS solution developments of Turkey and wants to contribute this formation with its own tools.
Netcad was founded in 1989. The company develops CAD&GIS&RS software and engineering solutions for fields including mapping, cadastre, regional and urban Planning, remote sensing, consulting, engineering solutions for; telecom, energy, water utilities, road& channel&dam design, mining, GIS solutions for; public safety, environmental management, agriculture, geology, forestry, transportation, city automation systems, land Information system and disaster management systems. Netcad currently offers approximately 30 GIS and CAD- based applications for desktop, web, mobile and cloud usage, all compliant with international standards. It has developed applications in Turkish, English and Russian for over 20,000 license-holders and more than 100,000 legal users around the world. The market share of the solutions of Netcad technologies provided for public authorities, municipalities and private sector throughout Turkey has reached 85%. In addition, Netcad products are being used as subject matter of courses in 462 departments in 82 universities. The number of people participating in Netcad Campus training programs is 5,500 per year. Netcad, ranking number 143 in the ‘500 Largest IT Companies’ listing for 2011, number 24 in the Turkey centered manufacturer category, number 5 in the Turkey centered manufacturer-software and number 7 in the list of top 20 companies according to the sectorial software income, always tries to maintain its sense of product and service quality at high levels with ISO 9001 quality certificate and CMMI LEVEL 3. The objective of Netcad is to be listed among the top 100 information technologies. While in Turkey Netcad is used by 800 municipalities, 950 public authorities, 4500 private sector company and 82 universities, it is used in 16 countries of 3 different continents.

    Netcad has been involved in INSPIRE since the initial decleration on 2007. Netcad was the golden sponsor of the INSPIRE forum Istanbul on 2012. Nowadays; all the tender documents of the Turkish local and central governmental bodies are being prepared according to the INSPIRE schemas and Netcad fullfills all these requirements. Netcad also involves in development of the tender documents according to the INSPIRE directives. 85% of Turkish data producers are using Netcad on their daily operations. Netcad is a key player on migrating these data to INSPIRE data themes.
