Mission: to open biodiversity data for scientific, conservation and educative purposes. Objectives: to mobilise data about biodiversity: species distribution, taxonomies, metadata, to create a digital platform for publishing and exchange of biodiversity information within the country

Mandate: 
The inter institutional agreement founding a scientific network.
Activities: 
PolBIN has been founded by a governmental grant as a Polish contribution to Global Biodiversity Information Facility, based on GBIF Memorandum of Understanding.
Membership:
