European and international, as well as national and regional involvement.Interested in strategic partnerships, service architectures, discussion of issues related to harmonisation of national datasets, reference systems, metadata and data validation, provision of expertise in space application domain, webgis, open source , space data application to risk management, fires and floods, orthoimagery, DTM, 3D reconstruction, landslides, etc

Telespazio is a Finmeccanica Company in charge of telecommunication and Earth Observation services. In Earth Observation it is partner in Italy of AGEA, IGM, Emilia Romagna Region and others. At European level, it participates to EC and ESA Projects such as GMES, GSE, Win, Orchestra, Oasis, Preview.
Activities: 
Space data processing and distribution, project development, value added products and services, involvement in EO Consortia for environmental, as well as security and risk management projects, participating in working groups, seminars, training courses, conferences, exhibitions and events
Membership: 
Telespazio carries out most of the EO-related activities with EURIMAGE.GAF in Germany is an Associated Partner. Close contacts are those with the Italian Ministry of Environment and Defence, with the Italian Civil Protection, with ESA and EC
Comments: 
Telespazio aims at playing a role in INSPIRE by means of a partnership in a purposely set up Consortium. Telespazio feels that INSPIRE has strong links with GMES and GSE Project opportunities. Telespazio is presenting proposals in the security. It is also partner in WIN
