(Submission #476)
The results of the INSPIRE evaluation (REFIT) and the implementation report provide a clear picture on the implementation of the INSPIRE Directive at its half-way point. A lot of progress has been made but there is no single country which has fully implemented the Directive to date. At the same time, the most challenging deadlines are still ahead. Therefore the Commission and the Member States have agreed on a renewed and reviewed Maintenance and Implementation Work Programme (MIWP) for the period between 2016 and 2020.
This presentation gives an overview of the new strategic directions for the MIWP 2016-2020 as well as the main working areas and priority actions:
Fitness for purpose End user applications Alignment with national, EU and international policies/initiatives Continued support to implementation
Topic Area: [2.2] Technologies and tools required to deliver INSPIRE Abstract Type: Oral Presentation
