Geographic information changes continuously in the course of time as everything does in the World. Present time only reflects the latest status of geographic information. In this case, it is not possible to see the former state of the data. Thus, temporal analyses cannot be performed. Nowadays, the way to reach more accurate results in a shorter time is to use appropriate and up-to-date technological opportunities. Studies on detection of land use and temporal change are carried out by using Remote Sensing Techniques and Geographic Information Systems. In recent years, realizing temporal change analyses of data both produced by the projects (True Orthophoto etc.) conducted within the body of the Ministry of Environment & Urbanization and gathered from other institutions and organizations has become possible using Remote Sensing Methods and Geographic Information Systems.
