(Submission #243)
deegree is a widely used open source software providing implementations of OGC services such as WMS (View services), WFS (Download Services) as well as WPS (spatial data processing services). The goal of the workshop is to set-up an INSPIRE Download Services (fast, interoperable, direct access) based on deegree Web Feature Service running on a Docker-based infrastructure. The participants will learn how to setup a deegree WFS on docker using the PostgreSQL/PostGIS database as a data storage. The workshop will provide a hands-on introduction to the basic deegree configuration concepts, with particular attention to the setup of INSPIRE compliant Download services. In particular it will show how complex features are configured and setup in deegree SQLFeatureStores, and how to import data with the HALE mapping tool using the WFS-T interface.
