General introduction to EuroGEOSS

The EuroGEOSS initiative was launched as the European component of the Global Earth Observation System of Systems (GEOSS) during the Plenary week of the Group on Earth Observations (GEO) in October 2017. EuroGEOSS focus on delivery of Earth Observation user-driven applications developed in Europe. INSPIRE is one of the main data sources for EuroGEOSS.

This session will give you a broad overview of EuroGEOSS and what is has accomplished since its launch, including where EuroGEOSS and INSPIRE can benefit from each other and the added value of connecting them.
