Sharing & Reuse Conference 2017
Modernising public administration through the sharing and reuse of IT solutions will be the leading theme of the event. The conference will be opened by the Portuguese Minister of the Presidency and of Administrative Modernisation, Maria Manuel Leitão Marques, together with the Director-General of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Informatics, Gertrud Ingestad, and the President of AMA, Pedro Manuel Francisco da Silva Dias.
The keynote speaker, Tony Bosma, a futurist and trend watcher, will speak about how technology enables services based on the sharing of products, people's time and knowledge. This will be followed by presentations on sharing and reuse policies and strategies in public administrations by representatives of Member States' public administrations, as well as Barbara-Chiara Ubaldi who leads the OECD Digital Government Project at the Public Governance and Territorial Development Directorate. The European Commission will introduce the Sharing and Reuse of IT Solutions Framework, a set of recommendations developed under the Sharing and Reuse action of the ISA2 programme. The conference will gather many other speakers from public administrations in Europe, EU institutions as well as the private sector, who will present business models, governance models, and approaches to standardisation that promote sharing and reuse of IT solutions. Mário Campolargo, Director-General of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Informatics, will deliver the closing speech.
