Metadata expertise: 
Metadata was one of the Data Specifications (technical guidelines) chapters that was more discussed during the process. As Contact Point (AF, PF, US), Facilitator (temporal AF) and Editor (temporal PF), I was on charge to review and implement the Metadata chapter.

Thematic knowledge related to one or more INSPIRE themes Expertise: 
As member of the data specifications team, I was acting as Contact Point for themes related with Facilities which covers (III-6, III-8, III-9). Because of the lack of experts for certain thematic areas I was acting temporaly as Editor (PF) and Facilitator (AF). Cross discussion with related themes about overlaps, scopes, links, shared components or potential reusability of them provided us with a deep knowledge about the scope of other thematic areas. In addition we had to deal with comments and pilots which in many cases covered the scope of many themes.

During the process I actively participated on discussion about registries and even in teleconferences and presentations offered by potential solutions providers. My background as ICT Consultant provide me with a deep understanding of computing infrastructures.

Monitoring and reporting Expertise: 
As member of the Data Specifications teams, I actively participated on workshops, meetings and discussions around monitoring and reporting. Facilities themes I was in charge of were closely related with these issue.

INSPIRE Technical Guidelines: INSPIRE data specifications and base models (D2.8.x, D.2.10.x), Data transformation, ETL, Interoperability of spatial data sets and services INSPIRE Technical Guidelines: Data specification framework documents (D2.5, D2.6, D2.7, D2.9), Portrayal, Observations & measurements, Conceptual data modelling / UML, OCL, Data quality, Conformance testing, Abstract Test Suites, XML schemas
Interoperability Expertise: 
As member of the Data Specifications Team, these were the core tasks performed during our daily labour. D.2.10 was in fact developed by facilities themes in order to improve interoperability among these themes.
