- Managing the National Registers of Addresses and Buildings: A member of the management team that runs the operations of these registers and their national repositories, Frank specializes in model management and interoperability. He liaises with experts from other national registers, the government, standardization bodies, and other stakeholders. At present, the focus is on interconnecting national registers and on facilitating organizations that will benefit from using them. Frank watches over the registers' suitability for real-world applications and identifies opportunities for improvement. He designed the data specification of an easy-to-use derivative information product that fulfils common needs for accurate address information. - Drafting the INSPIRE data specification on Buildings: Frank was an expert member of the international working group that drafted the data specification on buildings on behalf of the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission.
