Is 'distribution' modelled as a generic data type?

A quick question.  Where there is a need to report a species/population distribution (a table of the type SpeciesClass 1..n, SpeciesQuantity 1..n) is this modelled as a standard datatype for multiple Inspire Themes to use or do related Inspire Themes model this same concept locally?

    Hi Keiran,

it's the second option. Moreover, there is not even a common data type which gets 'specialised' in the different data themes.

    Hope this helps
