Geonetwork guidance and examples to migrate from MD TG1.3 to MD TG2.0
Our colleagues from GeoNetwork have just published in their website a very useful guidance to help users with the migration from the MD Technical guidelines version 1.3 to version 2.0 on https://geonetwork-opensource.org/manuals/trunk/en/user-guide/describing-information/inspire-editing.html#migrating-from-technical-guidance-version-1-3-to-version-2-0 .
This page contains links to an example XSLT conversion process that can be applied to metadata records and adapted to your own encoding rules (https://github.com/geonetwork/core-geonetwork/blob/master/schemas/iso19139/src/main/plugin/iso19139/process/inspire-tg13-to-tg20.xsl). It also contains some examples for ISO19139, ISO19115-3 or ISO19139 national profiles conversions, including one from the European Environment Agency.
Please feel free to go through the documentation and flag questions you may have.

Dear Jose Miguel,
Thank you very much for this useful input, and also to our GeoNetwork colleagues.
There are lots of data providers in Spain which are facing nowadays the challenge to transform their current metadata records in conformance to the (let's say new) Technical Guidance for the implementation of INSPIRE dataset and service metadata based on ISO/TS 19139:2007 v2.0.1. And I guess the situation is very similar in all Member States.
Examples of XSLT conversions will be also well-received by the community.
It is indeed a good opportunity to read all this material, share our issues and start fruitful discussion on this matter.
Hereby I encourage platform members to do so.
