Inspire 2017 - Marine & Atmosphere Cluster

By Keiran MILLARD

I hope to meet members of the marine and atmosphere cluster at Inspire 2017 September 4-8

We have arranged some sessions for cluster members to meet and discuss Inspire implementation.  As 'marine and atmosphere' covers a range of data types, we will host a number of sessions with other clusters:

  • Wednesday September 6th (13:00-14:00):  Grids and Elevations.  This will be held in conjunction with the Elevation cluster to discuss data sets such as bathymetry.

  • Thursday September 7th (10:00-11:00):  Feature based data.  This will be held in conjunction with the Area Management cluster to discuss data sets such as 'marine protected / management areas' and similar data covered by the SR data theme

  • Thursday September 7th (14:00-15:30):  Observations and Coverages.  This will be held in conjunction with the O&M/EF cluster to discuss data sets such as point measurements and time series observations and similar data covered by the OF/MF data theme. See https://themes.jrc.ec.europa.eu/discussion/view/141542/point-time-series-observation-example as and example of topics being discussed.

All meetings will take place in the 'Inspire Room' - I am not sure where this room will be yet, but there will be an Inspire stand and someone there will be able to direct you!
