Following preliminary consultation of the Member States contact points, the Commission decided to split the development of the implementing rules for the Spatial Data Services and for the “services allowing spatial data services to be invoked” in 2 phases:
-
An exploratory phase to refine the framework for the development of the implementing rules that ended successfully with the availability of the 2nd version of a recommendations document for the development of the spatial data services implementing rules jointly developed by a working group of experts nominated by the National Contact Points and the Network Services Drafting Team and a position paper on the invoke Implementing Rules developed by the Network Services Drafting Team
-
A drafting phase when the implementing rules will be developed: the current phase.
The Network Services Drafting Team was given the mandate to draft both sets of implementing rules and earlier it released the first draft of the Implementing Rules. This first version was submitted for review to the other Drafting Teams and the National Contact Points.
Comments have been taken into account by the Network Services Drafting Team to produce the second version of the Implementing Rules and the first version of the Technical Guidelines
Your Opinion
The Network Services Drafting Team is therefore seeking your feedback on both documents: the 2nd version of the Implementing Rules and the 1st version of the Technical guidance.
Your feedback on these 2 documents will be welcomed by the Network Services Drafting Team by the 21st of September 2012.
To participate, login or register on the SDIC/LMO area of the INSPIRE Site. You will be directed to the consultation page.
